I. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to outline the process and criteria for submitting nonprofit events to our Nonprofit POD Event Calendar. Our goal is to provide a centralized platform where nonprofit organizations can share their events open to the entire public, promote collaboration, and foster a sense of community among like-minded organizations.

II. Eligibility

To submit an event to our Nonprofit POD Event Calendar, organizations must meet the following criteria:

1. The organization must be a registered nonprofit, holding a valid 501(c)(3) status or equivalent in their respective country.
2. The event must be organized and hosted by the nonprofit organization or in collaboration with other eligible nonprofit organizations.
3. The event must have a clear social, environmental, cultural, educational, or charitable purpose and must be open to the entire public.

III. Event Submission Guidelines

Nonprofit organizations interested in submitting an event must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Event submissions must be made at least four (4) weeks prior to the event date to ensure sufficient time for review and promotion.
2. Submit the event through the designated online submission form, providing all necessary information, including:
   • Event name
   • Event description
   • Date and time
   • Location (physical or virtual)
   • Contact information
   • Registration or ticketing details, if applicable
   • Relevant links (website, social media, promotional materials)
3. Ensure that the event description is clear, concise, and free of errors. We reserve the right to edit the submitted content for clarity, grammar, and style.
4. Submit only one high-quality, relevant image or promotional material in the designated formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF).

IV. Review Process

1. Upon submission, our team will review the event to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria and submission guidelines.
2. Approved events will be published on our Nonprofit POD Event Calendar and may be shared through our social media channels and newsletter, at our discretion.

V. Disclaimer

We reserve the right to decline event submissions that do not align with our mission and values, or that promote discrimination, hate speech, or illegal activities. Additionally, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the submitted content or for any issues arising from the organization or attendance of the event.

By submitting an event to our Nonprofit POD Event Calendar, organizations agree to abide by this policy and acknowledge that any violation may result in their event being removed from the calendar and potential exclusion from future submissions.
